Clover Kids Groups

Many of our local 4-H clubs may choose to offer a Clover Kids group that meets at the same time as their regular club meetings. These groups provide younger members with fun, age-appropriate activities while giving the entire family the opportunity to participate in 4-H together. It's especially helpful for families with children in both Clover Kids and the traditional 4-H program.

For the 2026–2027 4-H year, Denton County 4-H will also offer a county-wide Clover Kids group that meets monthly from October through May. This group is open to all enrolled Clover Kids and provides a fun introduction to 4-H through hands-on activities, games, crafts, STEM, agriculture, and more. Whether you're joining through a local club or attending our county-wide group, we look forward to welcoming your family to Clover Kids!

Fall into Clover Kids

Denton County 4-H is excited to kick off another year of Clover Kids with our first county-wide meeting on Monday, October 5, from 6:15–7:00 PM at the Denton County Extension Office.

The meeting will begin with a brief overview of the Clover Kids program for members and their families. We’ll talk about what Clover Kids is, what families can expect throughout the year, and some of the opportunities available to our youngest 4-H members.

Following the introduction, Clover Kids will participate in age-appropriate fall activities and hands-on agricultural education. Our goal is to provide a fun environment where young members can explore 4-H, learn something new, and make friends!

Who Can Attend?

Clover Kids is for youth in Kindergarten–2nd Grade. Youth must be currently enrolled in Denton County 4-H as a Clover Kid to participate in this meeting.
